Unser Spirit: wohlwollend, zugewandt und barrierefrei

„Der Spirit, der die Stiftung ICP München ausmacht und der in allen unseren Einrichtungen herrscht, ist gekennzeichnet  von einer freundlichen, wohlwollenden und zugewandten Haltung anderen gegenüber. Wir setzen uns für ein Leben ohne Barrieren ein. Im Mittelpunkt unseres Handelns steht immer der Mensch mit seinen individuellen Bedürfnissen. Durch Empathie und Zugewandtheit erkennen wir die Bedürfnisse unserer Teilnehmenden und stimmen unsere Angebote passgenau darauf ab oder erweitern sie. Dazu stellen wir auch die nötige Technik und Ausstattung zur Verfügung. Wir setzen jeden Tag all unser Können, unser Engagement, unsere Kreativität und auch viel Herzblut dafür ein, die Barrieren im Leben unserer Teilnehmenden  so zu verkleinern, dass sie überwindbar werden. Dabei weisen uns die Teilnehmenden selbst die Richtung. Wir unterstützen sie zudem in ihrer Selbstkompetenz, um die noch verbleibenden Barrieren aus eigener Kraft zu überwinden.“

Begleitung in allen Lebenslagen​

„Ich bin mit dem ICP groß geworden. Schon mit drei Jahren bin ich in den Kindergarten der Stiftung ICP München gekommen, die damals noch Spastiker-Zentrum hieß. Als ich 20 war bin ich ins MFZ gezogen und wohne jetzt im MFZ Freimann. Es gefällt mir hier wirklich sehr gut. Ich habe viele Freunde und ich arbeite in der Förderstätte in unterschiedlichen Bereichen. Das macht mir viel Spaß.
Hier in der Burmesterstraße wohne ich auch ganz nah an der Allianz-Arena, das ist sehr praktisch. Ich bin nämlich Bayern-Fan und gehe, wann immer möglich, zu den Spielen vom FC Bayern. Auch meine Therapien bekomme ich hier; besonders mag ich die Schwimmtherapie.“

„Wir sind Spezialisten für die Rehabilitation, Förderung, Pflege, Beschulung, Behandlung und Therapie von Menschen mit körperlichen Behinderungen. Nur auf die Wünsche dieser Menschen und ihre Bedürfnisse fokussieren wir uns. Dabei entwickeln wir unser Wissen, unsere Kenntnisse und unsere Fertigkeiten ganz gezielt. Sehr gut können wir das Wissen und die Möglichkeiten aus Medizin, Therapie, Bildung, Förderung und Pflege zusammenführen. Und damit eine vielfältige professionelle Fachlichkeit entwickeln. Technologie hilft uns dabei Wissen besser zu strukturieren und verfügbar zu machen. Technologie ermöglicht uns, individuelle Lösungen für jeden einzelnen Lebensbereich der Menschen mit einer körperlichen Behinderung zu finden. Nur gezielte Fortbildung und Training unserer Teams stellen sicher: das wird auch erfolgreich gemeinsam umgesetzt. So machen wir das.“

Empathy and approachability let us recognise the needs our participants have and tailor or enhance our offerings accordingly. We also provide the necessary technology and equipment. Day after day, we invest our abilities, our commitment, our creativity, and also a lot of our heart and blood to minimise the barriers in the lives of our participants to a point where they become surmountable, with the participants themselves showing the way. We also assist them in their self-competence so that they can surmount what obstacles remain on their own.”

Assistance for all situations in life

„I grew up with the ICP. At the age of three, I started attending the nursery school of the Stiftung ICP München, which at the time was still called Spastiker-Zentrum. When I turned 20, I moved to the MFZ and now live in the MFZ Freimann. I really like it here. I have many friends and work in various areas of the support facility, which I enjoy a lot.

Here in Burmesterstraße, I am also really close to the Allianz-Arena, which is very convenient because I am an FC Bayern Fan and watch the games whenever I can. I also have my therapy treatments here; I especially like the swimming therapy.”

“We are specialists for rehabilitation, development, nursing, schooling, treatment and therapy of persons with physical disabilities. We only focus on the desires and needs of these persons. We use a targeted approach to develop our knowledge, our skills and capability and know how to combine the knowledge and possibilities in medicine, therapy, education, development and nursing to build our multi-faceted professional expertise. Technology helps us to better structure our knowledge and make it available. Technology allows us to find individual solutions for every aspect of the lives of persons with a physical disability. It is targeted continuing education and training for our teams that ensure that we successfully implement what we learned together. That’s how we do it.”
